On December 18, 2025, seven members and guests of Rusk County
Poetry Society met at Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp restaurant in Henderson to
celebrate Christmas with lunch and sharing poems. Everyone enjoyed a
great meal, and it was good to see some friends we had missed recently.
A few people shared poems, either their own or some by well-known
poets from the past. The next meeting will be at South Main Church of
Christ in Henderson and will include installation of the 2026 officers, open
mic time, and a lesson by Carol Thompson.
