Meetings are held every third Thursday, August through May, 2:00-4:00 PM, in the multipurpose room at the South Main Church of Christ, 402 South Main, Henderson, Texas.
Visitors are welcome. Email ahead to learn about any schedule changes.
Regular meetings include a lesson, spotlight poet, business and snacks. Attention is given to the growth of writers. Critiques by esteemed poets of PST, other state societies, and peers are provided upon request.
RCPS promotes poetry with a fall Celebration of Poetry luncheon and open mic (October, date and location varies). RCPS is a sponsor of the Northeast Texas Poetry in Schools competition, providing a scholarship to the graduating senior who is awarded first place each April.
