Wildflower Poetry Society met on Thursday, November 13th with six participants. Lisa Holcomb shared her creation based on last month’s prompts and two other people shared their favorite poems (written by others).
Since it was our sixth month anniversary of our first meeting, we revisited how the group was feeling about our current way we run our meetings. Other ideas were given as things the group might like to do, such as reading from poems that inspired us, working on prompts from the PST 100 conest, a lesson on preparing for the PST contest, and lessons on forms in poetry.
A prompt was given out for homework: unwrapped, laughter, crabby, floral, crown.
The next meeting (always the second Thursday) is our winter holiday celebration on December 11th, from 2-3:30 pm, at the Tyler Public Library.
